This policy explains what RustPluginGenerator collects when you use rustplugingenerator.com, why we need it, and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: we collect what is needed to generate, store and bill your plugins, and nothing is sold.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, display name and profile picture from the sign-in provider you choose (handled by Firebase Authentication).
- What you create: the prompts you write, the plans and plugins we generate for you, chat edits and version history.
- Usage: how many generations and tool uses you have made, so plan limits and the daily free-tool limits work.
- Payments: when you buy, PayPal processes the payment. We receive the subscription or transaction ID, plan, amount, status and the email on the PayPal account. We never see or store your card or bank details.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and request logs, used to keep the service secure, stop abuse and enforce rate limits.
- Browser storage: a sign-in session, and the prompt you typed before signing in so it is not lost. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
To run the service: generate and compile plugins, keep your library and version history, bill your plan, run Update Guard and email you when a plugin needed a fix, answer support requests, and prevent abuse. We may look at aggregated, anonymous usage to improve the generator.
Plugins are private by default. A plugin is only shown publicly if you choose to publish it to the gallery.
AI processing
To generate and fix plugins, your prompts and plugin code are sent to our AI model providers (Anthropic and DeepSeek). They process it to return a result under their own terms for API customers. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your private plugins as examples on the site.
Who else processes data
Only the providers we need to run the service: Google Firebase and Google Cloud (accounts, database, compile service), Vercel (hosting), PayPal (payments), our AI providers above, and our email provider. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account data, prompts and plugins: while your account exists. When you delete your account or ask us to, we delete it within 30 days, except payment records we must keep for tax and accounting. Request logs: up to 90 days.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account at any time by emailing support@rustplugingenerator.com. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have further rights, and we honor them for every user.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, email account holders.
