Terms of service
Last updated Oct 26, 2026
These terms cover your use of rustplugingenerator.com and the plugins, tools and documentation on it. By creating an account or buying a plan you agree to them.
The service
RustPluginGenerator turns a written description into C# plugin code for Rust servers running Oxide (uMod) or Carbon, and offers related free tools and documentation. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Facepunch Studios, uMod or Carbon.
Your account
You need an account to generate plugins. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One person per account. Server Network plans include the team seats listed on the pricing page.
Plans, billing and credits
- Paid plans are subscriptions billed in US dollars through PayPal, monthly or yearly. They renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Each plan includes a number of generations per billing period. Unused generations do not roll over.
- Credit packs (15 credits for $9) do not expire while your account exists, have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
- A new plugin uses 1 credit; a chat edit uses half a credit.
- We may change prices for future billing periods. We will email you before a price change affects your subscription.
- Refunds follow our refund policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to create malware, backdoors, cheats for other games, plugins that harvest players' data without consent, or anything illegal. Do not try to get around plan limits, scrape the site in bulk, attack or overload the service, or resell access. Plugins must be run in line with Facepunch's rules for Rust servers. We may refuse a request, remove published content, or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Code you generate
You own the plugins you generate, to the extent the law allows, and you may use, modify, share and sell them. On the Free plan, generated files include a one-line credit comment, which you agree to keep in files you share publicly. If you publish a plugin to the gallery, you let anyone view, copy and adapt it.
Similar prompts can produce similar code for different users. We do not claim that generated code is unique.
No warranty
Generated code is checked by a real compiler and a static safety check, but it is provided as is. Test plugins on a non-production server first and keep backups of your configs and data. Rust and Oxide updates can break any plugin at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost server revenue, wipes, player data or downtime), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the service
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can download your plugins, and refund unused prepaid time on yearly plans.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and email account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
