Stats plugins for Rust

Stats plugins record per-player data on your Rust server — kills, deaths, time played, resources gathered — and expose it through chat commands, leaderboards, and persistent storage. Admins use them to answer the questions players actually ask: who has the most kills, how many hours has this person played, when was this account last online, and what killed me yesterday. They also give owners evidence when a player disputes a raid or a ban.

About stats plugins

The mechanics to watch: playtime accumulates every time a player connects, so anything that polls connection state too often costs server ticks — prefer plugins that hook connection and disconnect rather than scanning the player list on a timer. Player stats and gather statistics write to data files, and on a busy server those files grow; a wipe cycle should include clearing or archiving them, and a leaderboard command that reads the whole file on every call will lag under load. PvP kill log and death cause stats need the attacker, weapon, and distance, so they hook into combat where they must return quickly. Last seen should be a permission-gated command — otherwise it's a free way to track offline players. Top players and longest kill shot leaderboards are usually chat commands with a cooldown, so they don't get spammed in global chat.

Plugins on this page are standard Oxide/Carbon C# plugins. They register permissions such as a stats admin group, read display settings from a JSON config (chat prefix, colors, leaderboard length, whether to announce new records), and store accumulated data in oxide/data. Each is drop-in after a reload, no server restart required.
